The day started out with a gas leak on S. Charlotte St. Then just before 10:30 AM, LCWC dispatched Manheim Fire Department to the 300 block of South Main Street in Penn Township for a reported building fire. Both PD and Chief 26 were reporting smoke visible while responding and the working fire dispatch was requested. The fire required extensive overhaul due to wooden pallets being manufactured in the building as well as the fire working its way into a void space along the roof. One person was injured. While the Manheim Fire Department was working this fire, Fire Department of Mount Joy covered a vehicle accident at White Oak Rd and Doe Run Rd.
