Just after 4:30pm this evening, LCWC dispatched Manheim Fire Department to the 600 block of Mallard Dr. in Penn Township for a dwelling fire. Chief 26 arrived on scene and reported fire through the roof of the garage and requested the working fire dispatch. Crews stretched two lines for a fire in the room above the garage and the attic space. The fire was quickly under control but it required extensive overhaul and ventilation.
