| Earlier today, Station 26 was alerted for a vehicle accident involving rollover of a box truck. Rescue 26 and Utility 26-1 made the response. Chief 26-1 was first arriving unit and confirmed the report. Rescue 26 and Utility 26-1 arrived shortly after.
Crews handled several things while on scene
- Patient care until EMS arrival
- Fluid control
- Removing items from the truck off the road
- Traffic control
- Debris clean up
Crews were on scene for just over 3 hours.
During this incident, a second call in the due was received for a medical assist. Utility 26-1 detached from the accident and rerouted to handle that. Utility 26-2 also responded from the station. Once that was completed, both utilities returned to the scene to assist with cleanup.
These were 2 of 3 calls today, the third being a fire alarm in the morning. |
